The project consists of the replacement of electrical service, electrical transformers, building distribution panels, and apartment loadcenters at two sites with multiple apartment buildings. At both sites, the work includes cutting and patching of GWB interior partitions and the cutting/patching/paving of the exterior site as necessary to accommodate the electrical work. At 36 Oakland Avenue, asbestos abatement is required to accommodate the electrical scope. At 75 Edgewood Avenue, electrical upgrades to existing kitchens are included, without asbestos abatement. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of Electrical and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the specified trades and provide a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement. All bids shall be submitted electronically through the specified platform. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than five percent of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates).
