Renovation of an educational facility in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Competitive prime contract bids are being solicited for Valley View Elementary renovations and geothermal. Bids are to be submitted electronically and will be received until the designated date and time. All bids must be on a lump sum basis and accompanied by bid security as described in the instructions to bidders. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities. Only the following work scopes will be bid as "best value": Work Scope 23a – Geothermal Package and Work Scope 23b – Combined Mechanical. The project consists of interior demolition and architectural improvements, mechanical and electrical upgrades, along with food service upgrades, and conversion of the building to a geothermal system. Obtain bidding documents, including instructions, drawings, and specifications, via free electronic download from the provided link. Parties who do not use the specified process are responsible for obtaining addenda. Bidding documents will be available for inspection at several builders' exchanges. A pre-bid conference will be held at the project location and time specified.
