Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the name of the bid and the bid number. Each bidder shall submit all information specified in the bid documents for compliance with the laws of the State of Illinois on Fair Employment Practices and with the City of Rockford's Ordinance on Equal Employment and Business Opportunity. Any bid that does not include the properly completed compliance items will not be read and will not be considered. All contracts for the construction of public works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The City of Rockford reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Completion- March 30, 2026 The City of Rockford requests bids from qualified companies to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for the Tree Removal at Jamestown East Subdivision as described in these specifications. The work consists of cutting, grubbing, removing and disposing of all trees and stumps in the locations outlined in the Plans. This work also consists of removing 185' of fence along the edge of the IDOT ROW.
