Each site includes two four-sided containment berms, each designed to hold a 210,000-gallon collapsible fabric fuel tank. The purpose of these berms is to serve as secondary containment for the fuel tanks at Fort Pickett, Blackstone, Virginia. Bidders are instructed that a mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at Building 229 at the corner of 9th St and Rives St, Fort Pickett, Blackstone, Virginia, 23824. The work can be generally described as: The work can be generally described as removing existing tarps and weed barrier, reshaping existing berms, establishing positive drainage, installing drainpipes and supplying and installing new geotextile weed barriers at each of the four berm sites on Fort Pickett, Blackstone Virginia.
