The prospective offeror should submit questions The Work to be performed under this Contract consists of the furnishing of all materials and equipment and the performance of all labor to implement the DOEE-selected Early Action Area (EAA) remedy for the ARSP study area in Washington, District of Columbia. The Contractor shall be required to work with OCP, DOEE, and NPS to implement the RA at eleven EAAs and dredge the channels in Kingman Lake. This Project consists of the earthwork and civil infrastructure required to complete select dredging, dewatering, and off-site disposal of dredged sediment or beneficial use of dredged sediments, capping, and in-situ activated carbon treatment of sediment within the EAAs as identified in the Drawings. In addition, the work includes permitting, project plans, mobilization, stormwater best management practices, site clearing, sediment processing at a laydown area, site maintenance, and restoration. The project includes navigational dredging in the Anacostia Main separate from the RA but potentially concurrent to leveraging its dewatering and treatment facilities--and may also involve future wetland mitigation or restoration work.
