S501 - Architectural Structures: RAVA Construction S503.A/S515.A - Water Bearing Concrete Structures/Process Equipment in Area A: Webber Waterworks S503.B/S515.B - Water Bearing Concrete Structures/Process Equipment in Area B: Rust Constructors S503.C/S515.C - Water Bearing Concrete Structures/Process Equipment in Area C: Bodell Construction S516 - Electrical/I&C: Alterman Electrical The original solicitation follows below. ----------------------------------------------- The scope consists of the following work packages: architectural structures; water-bearing concrete structures and underground piping; process equipment and above ground process piping; and electrical and instrumentation & controls for a 25 MGD/wet weather system. The project includes excavation, site preparation, backfill, buried piping, storm drain piping and basins, miscellaneous metals and concrete pipe supports, process equipment, exposed piping, non-concrete pipe supports, O&M, training, electrical duct bank, electrical gear, conduit, wiring, and I&C devices. Mechanical and process equipment, as well as above-ground process piping, are specifically excluded from certain packages. The project is managed as multiple bid packages, divided into manageable contracts to ensure all scope is captured. All Contractors must register as potential proposers before participating. Registration is through the MWH Public Plan Room. Prime Contractors must join the Walnut Creek WWTP CMR – GMP 5 project. Subcontractors and vendors must join the corresponding subcontractor project and coordinate their scope and pricing directly with the registered Prime Contractor. Proposals are to be uploaded electronically via the BuildingConnected platform by the stated deadline. Proposals will be evaluated based on best value, in compliance with Texas Government Codes §252 and §2269, and the evaluation factors outlined in the 02-Request for Proposal document will be applied. All qualified contractors receive consideration regardless of race or other protected status. The cost of General Liability, Excess Liability, and Workers Compensation insurance should be excluded from proposals, as the project is covered by a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP). MBE/WBE participation goals apply.
