The expected start date is December 15th, 2025. The expected project completion is on or before December 31st, 2026. The project will update and integrate the Open Space and Trails Plan (OSTP) and the Open Space Development Guidelines (OSDG) into a single, comprehensive planning document. The updated plan will provide clear and consistent direction for the acquisition and development of Canmores parks, open spaces, and trails. It will align with current municipal plans and policies and reflect the community's needs and expectations. The project will include innovative approaches to the use and design of parks and open spaces, supporting high-quality, inclusive recreation, enhanced opportunities for social interaction and connection, environmental stewardship, and improved climate resilience. Scope of work does not include design or construction.
