The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed proposals from water meter manufacturer and/ or approved distributors for the purchase of IP68 rated water meters that operate in both AMI and AMR mode. The total estimated quantity for this project is approximately 4,026 meters. Inquiries may be made by calling (301) 334-5003 or by emailing tbutler@garrettcountymd.gov The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to cancel this invitation to bid and to waive technicalities in any part deemed to be in the best interest of Garrett County. Questions regarding this RFP should be emailed to purchasing@garrettcounty.org or faxed to the Purchasing Department at (301) 334-5003. The Purchasing Department will formally respond to questions via addendums to the RFP. Please be advised that questions will be entertained until 2:00 P.M. on October 22, 2025. Questions asked after this time will not be answered.
