This item consists of Local Match funds for construction of water infrastructure improvements with Environmental Infrastructure Assistance Section 219 funding provided through the Army Corp of Engineers (ACOE). The project will replace approximately 0.5 miles of water main along Neola Street and a portion of Marquette St (Neola to Indianwood) with an Option Bid to replace water main along Miami St (Niagara to Indianwood). The amount shown is based on the current estimate if Base Bid and Option Bid are selected. The amount shown will reduce to $430,000 if only Base Bid is awarded. The target Letting Date is in early 2025. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of October 28, 2025, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
