**As of November 10,2025, this project bid date and time was extended till November 14, 2025 at 9:30a.m.** The project is for the construction at School Site Portables for Sierra Vista Elementary School and Rancho Verde High School. The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all necessary items for the completion of construction. For more information, refer to Division 01 - Spec. Section 011100 - Scope of Work, which is incorporated by reference into Exhibit A of the Contract for Construction & Installation. All contract documents and addenda are available for review on the District's website. Questions concerning the Project, or requests for clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents, shall be submitted to Nathan Spencer at DC Architects at nspencer@dcarchitects.net no later than 3:30 p.m. on October 28, 2025. The subject line for email inquiries must reference "VVUSD School Site Portables - SVES & RVHS". Questions submitted after this date and time will not receive a response. Instructions to bidders: - Bids must be submitted on the District's forms, including the Bid Form, and must conform to all contract documents and the instructions to bidders. - Each bidder must be a licensed contractor in the specified classification during the bid and throughout the project. - Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the total bid price. - A performance bond and a payment bond (labor and materials), each for 100% of the contract price, are required from the successful bidder. - A mandatory job walk is required. - All workers must be paid at least the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. - Bidders and subcontractors must comply with registration and qualification requirements as per the California Labor Code. - Each contract, if awarded, will go to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on the total base bid for each contract as indicated in the bid form. - The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularity in any bid received. - No bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after bid opening, and all pricing shall remain open during that time.
