The project consists of limited renovation and construction of a new addition to the Jackson County Health Department located at 600 North Murray Street, Gainesboro, TN. The new addition will be a 700 square foot structure including two new offices, a new storage room, and a new mechanical/utility room. Bidders must be licensed contractors in accordance with Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 6, Amended by Chapter 406 of the Public Work Act of 1977. Bids must be submitted with a bid bond or certified check for five percent of the total bid amount. The successful bidder will need to provide a Performance and Payment Bond for the full contract price, be registered with SAM.gov, and comply with all federal requirements attached to the funding.
