Renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Carpentersville, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade fire / police facility; one-story above grade municipal facility; one-story above grade fire / police facility; and one-story above grade municipal facility.
The Village of Carpentersville requests proposals from qualified firms or joint-ventured firms for Design/Build services (design, construction, and construction management) of comprehensive improvements to the Village Hall / Police facility. The scope of work includes required selective demolitions, remediation of asbestos and other environmental contaminants, renovations to existing remaining building, building addition(s), on-site parking lot reconstruction/expansion, and renovation of exterior common space. The work also includes, but is not limited to, meetings, site visits and investigations, Concept and Schematic Design, revisions, final design and permitting, cost estimates, construction, construction management, and all other incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project. Proposals that are conditional or take exception to the contract documents without prior written approval from the Village may be considered non-responsive and rejected. The Village retains the right to refuse any and all proposals. As of May 29, 2026, a design build firm selection has not been released.
