Sealed bids will be received for the Kalamazoo Public Schools South Westnedge School Wall Replacement Project at 3333 S. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008. All work for the complete construction of the project will be under one or more prime contracts with the Owner based on bids received and on combinations awarded. The Construction Manager will manage the construction. Construction must be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents available through the designated locations. Prime and non-prime contract bidders must place orders for documents at the specified website to download electronically or request printed documents, with costs for printing, shipping, and handling to be paid by bidders requesting printed documents. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the instructions. Successful bidders must furnish performance and payment bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. The contract will be entered into with Kalamazoo Public Schools. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid (or combination of bids) and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All bids may be held for a period not to exceed 120 days before awarding contracts.
