This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for replacement of Steris equipment which is been procured directly with vendor via PHSA contract. The Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) Department at Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH), located on Level 0, supports the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments within the Decontamination Area (N014) and Central Processing Area (N015). The project focuses on replacing three existing sterilizers in the clean workroom (N015). Scope of Work The project includes the removal and replacement of sterilizer equipment, along with supporting infrastructure upgrades. Key activities involve: Installation and commissioning of new sterilizer units by the equipment vendor Delivery and installation of the sterilizer during the week of October 19, 2026 Development and implementation of an Infection Control Plan, including hoarding and negative air measures Disconnection and removal of existing sterilizers Modifications to mechanical, plumbing, and steam systems to support new equipment Installation of a new cold-water supply with a Reduced Pressure Backflow Assembly (RPBA) Provision of a new steam line complete with steam trap, separator, and clean steam filter Reconnection of utilities and installation of new electrical disconnects Minor wall modifications and installation of stainless-steel wall protection Documents can be obtained from https://fraserhealth.bidsandtenders.ca/
