Renovation of a mixed-use development in Spring Hill, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.
As of December 29, 2025 the project has been awarded as two contracts, $2,651,812.00 for Spring Hill Elementary and $3,765,467.00 for Spring Hill Middle School, The Spring Hill School District is soliciting bids for roof work to be conducted within defined sections at Spring Hill Elementary School and Spring Hill Middle School. The scope of work includes removal, disposal, and replacement of roof system components as detailed in the project bid packet. Contractors must be Garland Certified prior to participating in the bid process. All interested contractors must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference, after which site walks of both schools will take place. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. Should a bidder fail to provide a satisfactory surety bond, refuse to make a contract based on their bid, or fail to meet requirements, the bid bond or certified check will be forfeited as liquidated damages. Contractors who do not attend the pre-bid conference will be disqualified from bidding. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of thirty days after the bid opening date.
