As of March 4, 2026 the project has been awarded. Sealed bids for Legacy Lake Dam Improvements will be received by the City of Spring Hill, Kansas. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the City of Spring Hill City Clerk and marked "Legacy Lake Dam Improvements." Plans and specifications are available at the office of the City Clerk and may also be seen or purchased online, on CD, or as a hard copy from Drexel Technologies. Bidders are responsible for all charges related to shipping bidding documents. Contractors must read and be fully familiar with all contract documents before submitting a bid, visit the site of the work to inform themselves of all existing conditions and limitations, and include a sum in their bid to cover all items of the work. Bidders must verify that all written addenda have been considered; no clarifications or exceptions will be allowed. Bids are for the total package, total contract price, and must be submitted on the provided form, in ink or typewritten, with numbers stated in both writing and figures, signed in longhand, and without alteration or erasure. For alternate items not being bid, a written indication of "no bid" is required. No oral, telegraphic, facsimile, or telephonic bids or alterations will be considered. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a certified check from an acceptable bank, payable to the City of Spring Hill, Kansas, in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid. The bid deposit of the successful bidder and the second qualifying bidder will be returned upon receipt of satisfactory bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount, required insurance certificates, and other required documents after the contract documents have been executed. Non-resident corporations and individuals must comply with state registration and bonding requirements before commencing work. No pre-bid conference will be held.
