Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lynn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Scope of Work Includes but is Not Limited to, the Interior Renovation and Conversion of the 2nd and 4th Floor of an Existing Building to Accommodate the Needs of Lynn Public Schools. The Project Includes Selective Demolition, Mepf System Upgrades, Interior Finishes Including the Construction of New Partition Walls, Painting, Resilient Flooring, and Acoustic Ceiling Tiles. The Project is Expected to Commence on or About January 5, 2026 and Be Completed No Later Than August 1, 2026. Please Include "195 Market Street Interior Renovation - Phase 2 Rfi - Trade Category " in the Subject Line of Your Email. Filed Sub-bidders Must Be Certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (Dcamm) in the Trades Listed Below and Must Submit a Current Dcamm Certificate of Eligibility and Signed Dcamm Sub-bidder's Update Statement. Each General Bid and Filed Sub-bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the Form of a Bid Bond, or Cash, or a Certified Check on, or a Treasurer's or Cashier's Check Issued by a Responsible Bank or Trust Company, Payable to the City of Lynn in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of Value of the Bid. Bid Deposits Will Be Dealt With as Provided in Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 44b. Bids Shall Be Made on the Basis of the Minimum Wage Rates as Determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, Pursuant to the Provisions of Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27d Inclusive of Massachusetts General Laws, a Copy of Which is Attached to and is Made a Part of the Contract. The Awarding Authority Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All General Bids, if It Be in the Public Interest to Do So, and to Reject Any Sub-bid on Any Sub-trade if It Determines That Such Sub-bid Does Not Represent the Sub-bid of a Person Competent to Perform the Work as Specified or That Less Than Three Such Sub-bids Were Received and That the Prices Are Not Reasonable for Acceptance Without Further Competition.
