Site work for a development in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development.
The work involves posting signage along the border of a 200-acre parcel located along Queen Kaahumanu Highway and Kealakehe Parkway in Honokohau, Kona, Island of Hawaii. The Department will provide seven (7) "No Trespassing" signs on the day of installation. The scope includes labor for posting signage, as well as providing steel posts and necessary hardware to install five signs along Queen Kaahumanu Highway (approximately every 500 feet) and two signs at the start of Kealakehe Parkway. Each sign measures 18" W x 24" H, made of .063 aluminum with standard pre-drilled mounting holes (1.5" from each edge) and radius corners. Signs must be placed at a standard height and at a safe distance from roadways and highways. Bidders must include Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) in their total bid. The contractor must provide insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate in Commercial General Liability, and add the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands as additional insured. Vendor compliance will be checked through Hawaii Compliance Express, and it is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure proper registration and updated information.
