As of 12/16/2025 The Date Opening Date of Thursday December 18, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. is changed to Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM. The proposed work consists of constructing a concrete canoe/ kayak landing, walking paths, access drives, parking lot, observation deck foundations and incidentals. The Engineer's Base Bid Cost Estimate is $500,000. The Project Final Completion Date is October 2, 2026. Bids must be submitted on the unbound Bid Forms furnished with the Bidding Documents and must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or bid security furnished in Bond Form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. This project is partially funded by a grant from the OPWC Clean Ohio Program (Round 17). Attention must be given to all the requirements contained in the bid packet, prevailing wage rates, various insurance requirements and the requirement for a bid guaranty and contract bond for 100% of the contract price. The Village of Kalida reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
