The Proposed Work is Officially Known as"City Hall Improvements" for the City Ofnokomis, Illinois. The Project Consists of Refacing the Front of the Existing City Ofnokomis Building. There Shall Beremoval Of the Existing Wood Veneer. The New Face Shall Include Stone Veneer and Engineered Siding. The Existing Canopy Shall Include Removal Ofthe Existing Shingle Roofing and Soffit and Install New Metal Roofing and Metal Soffit. Also Atthe Canopy, the Columns and Beams Shall Bewrapped With the Engineered Wood to Match the Siding. Thecityofnokomis Reserves Theright to Reject Any or Allbids, Waiveornot Waiveany Informalityinthe Bids, And to Accept Any Bid Which It Deems Most Favorable Tothe City. It is Agreed That This Bid May Not Be Withdrawn for Aperiod Of45days From Opening Thereof or It Will Be Subject to Forfeit the 5% Bid Bond Provided With the Bid. It is Anticipated That Anotice Ofaward of Acontract Will Be issued Within 30-to-45 Days Ofthe Date Bids Are Received and That Anotice To proceed Will Be Issued Within 10days Ofthe Date Ofthe Notice of Award if Contractor Provides Proper Insurance and Bonding in Atimely Manner. The Submission of Monthly Certified Payrolls to the City Ofnokomis Will Be Required. Contractor Shall Not Pay Less Than Prevailing Wages to All Laborers, Workman, and Mechanics or Any Other Trade Performing Work Under This Contract, and Shall Comply With the Requirements Ofthe Act Stated Above.
