Sealed bids are invited for the 2023 Green Acres Program - Elmwood Drive Park Improvements, Contract No. 2025-1. The work consists of supplying all necessary labor, material, and equipment for tasks as specified in the contract documents and plans. The estimated quantities include mobilization, site clearing, silt fence installation, construction entrance, tree removal, topsoil regrading, site excavation and grading, clerestory pavilion (50' gazebo), concrete and reinforced sidewalks, picnic tables and shelters, vinyl-coated chain link fencing (dog park), water fountains with dog waterers, chain link gates, pet waste stations, signage, domestic water service tap-in, copper water service, park benches, a storage shed, various dog gyms (bridge climb, hill climb, tunnel house), three dog benches, and a construction sign. Bidders must submit proposals in the prescribed form, enclose them in sealed envelopes bearing the project and bidder's information, and include a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Cashier's Check for 10% of the bid (not to exceed $20,000), along with a consent from an approved surety company to furnish required bonds if awarded. Bidders must comply with the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, Affirmative Action Law, Business Registration Act, and Public Works Contractor Registration Act. Only vendors in good standing (not suspended, debarred, or disqualified) may participate. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or to make awards as it deems in its best interest.
