Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Wayne, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.

The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Specifications and shown on the Plans for the FY 2024 Community Development Block Grant Doremus Place Improvements, Contract No. 2025-4. The approximate estimated item quantities include mobilization, uniformed traffic controllers, site clearing, drums, HMA milling, construction signs, hot mix asphalt surface course, driveway repair, traffic cones, replacement concrete vertical curb, sidewalk, driveway apron, detectable warning surface, full depth hot mix asphalt pavement repair, traffic stripes and pavement markings with thermoplastic, resetting utility valves, bicycle safe grates, inlet heads, resetting pavers and manhole castings, topsoil with fertilizing, seeding and mulching, and a tree removal, along with asphalt and fuel price adjustments. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name, address, and the project name, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Cashier's Check for ten percent of the total amount bid, not exceeding $20,000. All bid guarantees must include a consent from an approved surety company to provide required Performance and Maintenance Bonds upon award. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten days after the Notice of Award. The contract is subject to the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, Affirmative Action Regulations, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant Program Regulations, and Federal Labor Standards Provisions. The project is a Section 3 Project under the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, requiring, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment for low and moderate income persons residing within the project area, and utilization of businesses located in or substantially owned by persons residing within the project area. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, and to make awards to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders.
