The contract work for this project shall consist of furnishing all the required labor, materials, equipment, parts, implements and supplies necessary to perform the required painting of the interior walls (trim, molding, etc.) of various City facilities, in the City of Yucaipa, including, but not limited to, surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, wallpaper removal, repairs, priming, etc.) and application (multiple coats, consistent finish, sharp lines, masking, protection, etc.). Proposed facilities are Yucaipa City Hall, Yucaipa Community Center, Scherer Community Center, Library, and 7th Street Pool Center. The construction and completion of the project as indicated above shall be in accordance with all City Standards, Building Codes and Specifications prepared for this project. (Engineer's Estimate-$210,000-$230,000) Liquidated Damages - There will be a Five Hundred Dollar ($500.00) assessment for each working day that work remains incomplete beyond the time stated in the Proposal Form. Refer to the Proposal Form for specific details. Licenses - Each Bidder shall possess a valid appropriate Contractor's license issued by the California State Contractors License Board at the time of the Bid submission, unless this Project has any federal funding, in which case the successful Bidder must possess such a license at the time of Contract award. The City of Yucaipa reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award each item separately, and/or waive any informality on any bid. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time set for the opening thereof. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
