Site work for a water / sewer project in Cle Elum, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of upgrading approximately 240 linear feet of existing 4-inch steel potable water piping on Montgomery Avenue from Third Street to Fourth Street with new 8-inch C900 PVC piping and valving. The work also includes the reconnection of two existing water services. The contract duration is six working days to complete the work. All questions should be directed to Jakob W. Michael, PE, at 509-966-7000 or jmichael@hlacivil.com. Bids must be submitted in writing on the form provided in the specifications, sealed, and filed with the Clerk by the specified deadline. Each bid must be accompanied by a bond or certified check payable to the Treasurer of the City of Cle Elum for not less than 5% of the bid amount, to be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract. Bidders are encouraged to register as planholders on the provided website to receive automatic addenda notifications. Minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid, and contractors must ensure nondiscrimination in employment. The City of Cle Elum reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities.
