Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hillsboro, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed work includes modified cold milling (depth transitions) on selected streets in the following subdivisions: Highland House Manor, Country Club of Sugar Creek, and Cape Town Village (North). All work must be completed by December 1st, 2026. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. A certificate of insurance shall be submitted with each proposal. Jefferson County, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on any public works project must provide a minimum 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work, of a similar character in this locality, as established by the State of Missouri's Annual Wage Order that is currently in effect at least 10 calendar days prior to bid opening.
