Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Caldwell, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade municipal facility.

The City of Caldwell seeks Competitive Sealed Proposals for the City Hall Complex Demolition and Restoration Project. Instructions specify that all prospective bidders must attend one mandatory pre-bid meeting held onsite at the City Hall Complex. Proposals must be received by the stated due date and time, and may be delivered by mail, courier, or in person to the address provided. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive informalities in proposal submissions, and modify or cancel the request for proposals at any time. For inquiries, contact: CPM Texas 512-298-1700 Jonathan Peterson Project Manager jpeterson@cpmtx.com Question Deadline 11/10/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Scope of Work: The project scope includes all labor, material, equipment, supervision and coordination required to perform the required demolition and restoration services identified in the Construction Drawings plans dated 2025-09-24 and Technical Specifications dated 2025- 09-25 (Exhibit B). The demolition scope of work generally consists of the removal of all equipment, interior and exterior walls, ceilings, flooring, roof, concrete, foundation and above and below ground utilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for installing all erosion controls, site concrete and seeding. The contractor will also be required to provide any necessary HAZMAT surveys. The adjacent buildings will remain operational throughout construction. Additional Clarification: The selected Contractor shall be responsible for establishing permanent ground cover within the limits of disturbance following demolition and grading activities. This includes furnishing and applying topsoil and seed in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The Contractor shall water and maintain the seeded areas until a uniform stand of vegetation is established and accepted by the City. Refer to sheet note 8 on sheet C-4. Additional Item: There is a driveway entrance to the "Drive-Through" located on E. Fox Street. Saw cutting and patch-back of the curb and gutter are not currently shown. Include in your pricing all costs associated with saw cutting and patch-back, using the same method described for the other driveways that are currently shown to be included. Alternate: The selected contractor will need to remove the retaining wall as identified within the Construction Documents and provide an alternate cost to remove the retaining wall including all required shoring and monitoring as described in the Construction Documents.. See the construction drawings, technical specifications and bid form for additional information. Additionally see sheet notes on sheet C-2. Estimated Budget: The estimated construction budget for this project is between $500,000 and $750,000. The City of Caldwell reserves the right to adjust the scope or funding of the project based on proposals received and City Council approval. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
