Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to replace all existing pumps, valves and associated piping, as well as remove and install a stainless steel floor and to strip and paint the interior of the dry well at Pump Station-4S (PS-4S). The upgrades will be done inside the dry well of the pump station, which is an underground steel can type structure accessed by a single vertical ladder. The dry well is approximately 96 inches in diameter and 96 inches tall, with the ground level to the dry well floor approximately 20 feet. The contractor will provide all new fabrications, piping components, valves, gaskets, hardware, pipe supports, paint, paint supplies, tools, equipment and labor necessary to complete the project per supplied drawings and specifications. The contractor is also responsible for removing obsolete equipment and installing the new items inside a permitted confined space. Bids must be accompanied by security amounting to ten percent of the total bid. Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids and to waive any informalities, defects, or irregularities. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
