Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Amarillo, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

Performance bond in the amount of 100% of project will be due 10 days before proejct start date. The contract will be awarded to the vendor who provides the most responsive proposal to Randall County base on the evaluation criteria set forth in the request for proposal documents. The Randall County Commissioner's Court reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. Payments will be made 30 days after receipt of invoice. The Youth Center project consists of the following work on approximately 1,300 sq ft of total: 1. Pod G i. Remove 12 dorm room doors. Reinstall existing hardware on new 14- gauge hollow metal doors. Hang doors and match paint to existing. ii. Remove and replace three 3' by 3' existing stainless steel showers. Remove and replace one 3' by 3' existing Handicap stainless steel shower. iii. Patch walls and flooring after installation. 2. Pod H i. Remove 12 dorm room doors. Reinstall existing hardware on new 14- gauge hollow metal doors. Hang doors and match paint to existing. ii. Remove and replace three 3' by 3' existing stainless steel showers. Remove and replace one 3' by 3' existing Handicap stainless steel shower. iii. Patch walls and flooring after installation. 3. Pod I i. Demo existing elevated Control Room. This shall include the detention grade glazing and metal window frames. (Existing detention grade doors, frames and hardware to be re-used) ii. Demo acoustical ceiling, and drywall fur downs, floor coverings, lighting, grilles & registers to prep for new wall configuration. This will accommodate increasing the Day Area requirement needed. iii. Frame new metal stud walls and add new wall and ceiling rough ins, sheetrock, paint new walls and existing dorm rooms with enamel paint. Increase acoustic ceiling height in the new day area, install epoxy with flake flooring at all form rooms and day areas. iv. Rework mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection as needed. v. Remove one existing nonrated stainless steel shower unit and replace it with a handicap rated stainless steel shower unit.
