Reference Number 0000403281 The work performed under this contract generally consists of removal and replacement of deteriorated curb, gutter, sidewalk, aprons, crosspans, concrete pavement panels, and new construction of sidewalk on suburban arterial, collector, residential roadways and other City maintained areas. Question Deadline 11/26/2025 All questions regarding the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted in writing to Elizabeth Dunaway, Purchasing Manager, City of Centennial, 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, CO 80112. Any inquiry received seven (7) or more days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids will be given consideration. Each Bid shall be made on the Bid Form provided in the bid packet and no Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of ninety (90) days from and after the date set for opening of bids. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on an approved form in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bid price, made payable to the City of Centennial, which shall be considered as liquidated damages and shall be forfeited to the City if said Bid is accepted and the Bidder fails to execute the Contract within ten (10) calendar days after the Award by the City. The Bid Bond will be submitted in a separate electronic file. Each Bid must also be accompanied by a completed Questionnaire. The work herein provided for shall be done under written Contract with the contractor chosen by the City as deemed to be in the best interests of the City. Upon review of Bid prices and the Questionnaires, the City may be required to add or delete portions of Work from this Project. The City may extend the Contract with the contractor chosen by the City for up to four (4) additional one-year terms as described in Section 323 of the Special Conditions Docs note- Centennial uses the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (RMEPS) at online to distribute official copies of the Bid Documents for use in preparing Bids. Bidders will be required to register with the website to download the Bid documents and Addenda. Bidders are required to acknowledge all Addenda with their Bid and are encouraged to view the Addenda posted on RMEPS prior to submitting a Bid The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, as part of the Contract, insurance certificates in the amount specified in the General Conditions, a Performance, Payment, Maintenance and Warranty Bond in an amount equal to one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, said bond to be issued by a responsible corporate surety approved by the City, and which shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Construction Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and protect and save harmless the City from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor. The City reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities and to reject any or all Bids.
