Renovation of an educational facility in South Texarkana, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Proposals are requested for the 26-04 Roofing Project. Proposals must conform to specifications and will not be returned. Texarkana College reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. Scope of Work In partnership with the City of Texarkana, TX, Texarkana College is seeking vendors to remove the roof, dispose of old roof materials, and install a new roof at the former Discovery Place located in Downtown Texarkana: 215 Pine Street, Texarkana, TX 75501. High Roof: 1. Remove field portion of existing roof systems and insulation down to wooden decking and haul debris to approved landfill. 2. Base and wall flashings to be encapsulated with minimum 5/8" thick plywood sheathing attached to wooden nailers installed on top of parapet wall and to wooden decking at bottom of plywood sheathing. 3. Furnish and install new Elevate ISO roof insulation mechanically attached into wooden decking. Total thickness to be 3.5" thick consisting of two separate layers with staggered joints. 4. Furnish and install a fully adhered and 60 mils thick Elevate EPDM commercial membrane. Membrane to tum up and over tops of parapet walls. 5. Furnish and install Elevate manufactured metal edging, parapet cap, gutter, and downspouts as necessary for a watertight roof assembly. All metal items to be included in manufacturer's warranty. 6. Upon completion owner will be supplied with an Elevate 20 year NDL Non Pro-rated, material and labor warranty. Warranty will also cover incidental cuts and punctures. Warranty must be a total system warranty that includes all components of the roof system (insulation, membrane, flashings, and metal itemsLow West Roof and Penthouse Roof: 1.
