As of December 23, 2025, a consultant has been awarded for the feasibility study. The Carl D. Duncan Hall (DH) of Science (179,000 ASF | 346,000 GSF) was completed in 1967 as a multidisciplinary science building. It was the first high rise building on campus and is located on the southern edge of the main campus with a formidable presence along San Salvador. While appropriate formally, it requires a myriad of improvements to meet reasonable standards for a modern curriculum or contemporary science education and research. Space types include (but are not limited to): interdisciplinary lecture, teaching lab and lab service, research lab and lab services, faculty office, faculty meeting space, and specialized uses such as animal quarters, greenhouses, and rooftop instrumentation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
