Project Title Repair Transformer T5 Access Hatch Project No.: 539-25-503 The "Repair Transformer T5 Access Hatch" project is intended to replace the three-phase pad mount 150 KVA T5 transformer outside of Building 8. The contractor shall purchase the equipment and complete full install. 5. Specific Tasks 1. Purchase Replacement Transformer a. Provide a one for one replacement transformer. Complete all cabling and terminations, as required. b. Contractor to provide rigging for removal of existing, and placement of new transformer housing on existing pad. Properly dispose of existing transformer. c. Transformer to meet the following requirements: i. Three-phase pad mount 150 KVA ii. Primary Bushings: 6) 200 Amp Dead Front Wells & 15kV inserts iii. Secondary Bushings: 4-Hole Spades iv. Bayonet Fusing v. 2 position T blade load break switch vi. Liquid Level Guage vii. Liquid Temperature Guage viii. Pressure Vacuum Gauge Assembly ix. Drain Valve with Sampler x. Non-PCB Mineral Oil xi. Standard ANSI Green Paint xii. Measurements of bushings 2. Replace/re-run primary cabling from PPSU to primary bushings on new transformer. 3. Connect existing feeders to new T5. 4. Provide arc flash labels for new equipment. 5. Work to be completed on a weekend, and PPSU downtime to be as minimal as possible. 6. Any damage to the property (ie. fencing, sidewalks, landscaping) must be corrected.
