Remodeling of a conference / convention center in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade conference / convention center.
The Work in the base bid includes all material, labor, and equipment necessary to furnish and install toilet rooms entirely within the Albany Capital Center. The scope includes coordination of permitting and inspections through the Albany Convention Center Authority with contractor collaboration, all general conditions, provision of material, labor, and equipment for temporary protection of existing surfaces and occupied spaces, minor selective demolition, drywall surface repairs, painting of adjacent wall surfaces, and coordination with the facility operator as required for scheduling any work "By Others," maintaining safety, efficiency, and timely delivery of the overall project. The project is to be completed during normal working hours based upon available dates in the event calendar from a schedule developed by the contractor with input from the operator. Work outside of normal working hours may be considered upon request to meet the completion deadline. Owner will accept invoices with insurance certificates for stored material to assure timely completion of the work. The sole contact person for this RFP is Monica Kurzejeski at (518) 414-9791.
