Site work for a development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development; and one-story above grade development.
The scope of work is for infrastructure improvements at Parker Pond, University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY), project number P-1541. All work shall be in accordance with construction drawings and specifications, and includes construction, rehabilitation, and new construction for building infrastructure. All work must be substantially completed by July 1, 2027, and fully completed by September 24, 2027. Instructions to bidders require bids to be submitted in duplicate as outlined in the Information for Bidders. Bid security in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid is required. The contractor must be able to secure a performance bond for the full amount of the bid. Participation of minority, women, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses is encouraged, with 11% minority-owned, 19% women-owned, and 6% veteran-owned subcontracting goals. All work is to comply with the project specifications and drawings, and the project is exempt from the Wicks Law. Attendance at the pre-bid walkthrough is highly recommended but not mandatory. All communication regarding procurement must be directed to the designated contacts only, as improper contact may disqualify the firm from the procurement process and future opportunities.
