Renovation of an office development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade office development.
Sealed bids are sought for Project Nos. Q1959-C, Q1959-H, Q1959-P, and Q1959-E, which comprise separate contracts for Construction Work, HVAC Work, Plumbing Work, and Electrical Work to renovate the Central Office at OMH Central Office, 44 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by the required bid security. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond for 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must comply with state requirements regarding restricted communications and may be subject to non-responsibility determinations per State Finance Law. MWBE goals are established for different trades: 30% for Construction, 10% for Electrical, and good faith efforts encouraged for HVAC and Plumbing. SDVOB participation goals are also set for each trade. All bidders are expected to cooperate with MWBE and SDVOB policies, and the Office of General Services reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
