Construction Plans to Serve the 32 Crossing Subdivision, Still Waters The Project consists of constructing +/- 4,500 linear feet of 8 PVC water main, +/- 1,500 linear feet of 8 PVC sanitary sewer, +/- 2,300 linear feet of 18 & 24 storm drain piping, +/- 9,800 linear feet of curb and gutter, +/- 1,200 tons of 12.5 mm superpave asphalt and 10,900 square yards of 6 soil cement base and all additional items indicated in the Contract Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If awarded the Contract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bonds must be provided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing and be licensed in the State of Georgia. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with any alternate bid items if indicated in the Bid Form No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
