Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Allentown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Work includes tree removal, fence and gate replacement and installation, fence repair, playground equipment replacement, basketball court repaving, conversion of a play court to pickleball courts, pavement widening, sidewalk construction, signage replacement, grading, and basketball hoop and backboard, bench, trashcan, and dog waste receptacle installation. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided and in accordance with the specifications contained in the Instructions to Bidders and other bidding documents. Bid documentation must be obtained from the Borough Engineer by registering and paying the required fee; failure to do so will result in rejection of the bid. Bidders must comply with the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act, Affirmative Action requirements, and submit a Business Registration Certificate, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent of the bid amount (no more than $20,000 nor less than $500). Bids must be received in sealed opaque envelopes, labeled with the bidder's name, address, and project name, and addressed to the Borough Clerk. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept the bid that best serves its interest. Contractors must maintain all contract-related documentation for five years from final payment and make it available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
