Question Deadline 11/28/2025 Bidders requiring clarification of interpretation of Bidding Documents shall make written request to Architect, to reach him minimum five days prior to date for receipt of Bids. Sealed bids are solicited for furnishing all labor, materials, and services required to perform the construction of the GSMST Auditorium & 4th Floor Buildout - Division 27 in Gwinnett County, GA. Bid documents must be obtained from the designated architect's office or via electronic distribution. Bids must be submitted in person as specified, as emailed bids will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required, with failure to attend resulting in disqualification. The awarded contract will be lump sum, and bids must remain valid for 60 days after opening. The successful bidder must provide a bid bond equal to 5% of the base bid, and performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract sum. Bonds must be from a surety licensed in Georgia, listed on "Department of the Treasury Circular 570," and rated at least Class "A" with a Financial Size of VI or better by A.M. Best. Project milestones require substantial completion of the 4th floor by June 1, 2026, and of the auditorium by June 1, 2027. The owner retains the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive technicalities. Payments and retainage are as prescribed in the specifications and contract conditions.
