Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Fort Frances, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Development of new multi-family market rental housing on DRRSB-owned land in the Town of Fort Frances, Ontario. Details: 1. Construct high-quality rental housing to attract variety of demographic groups including families, professionals and seniors. 2. A mix of one- and two-bedroom units, each with private entrances, unit-controlled heat and rough-ins for stackable laundry. 3. Achieve meaningful density while maximizing the use of existing vacant land; and 4. Integrated site design that complements parking and green space requirements for the existing building intended to be used as a community resource center with onsite child care and health/human services, and integration with the surrounding neighbourhood. TIMELINE: A Request for Expression of Interest for Developers has been issued by the owner. DRRSB is also undertaking a feasibility study to leverage the decommissioned school building to create a multi-service Community Resource Centre. Question Deadline 11/07/2025 All questions regarding the property or EOI must be received in writing at least ten (10) calendar days prior to the date of submission.
