Sealed bids are requested for the furnishing of all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform and complete the Southwest Parking Lot Improvements Project according to plans and specifications on file in the City Engineering Office. The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and noted material for the described improvements. All bidders must be qualified by experience and properly equipped to complete the work in the allotted time. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as instructed and must be completed on the form provided in the bid book with all addendums included. The bid book, plans, and specifications must be purchased from AA Blueprint at the contractor's expense and is required for consideration. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting it and include a bid guarantee in the form of either a bond for the full amount of the bid issued by a surety company licensed in Ohio, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for 10% of the full amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to submit a bond in accordance with Ohio regulations. Additional required documents include a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Statement of Bidder Resources and Experience. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates in Medina County, Ohio, and domestic steel requirements. No withdrawal of bids is permitted within 60 days after opening except as allowed by Ohio law. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities.
