The Osage Nation is seeking proposals for the Restricted Land Program Fencing Projects. Proposal packets with full details are available from the Osage Nation Purchasing Office. Osage Preference will be applied in awarding the contract. The Osage Nation reserves the right to reject any and all responses. Question Deadline 11/18/2025 at 4:30 PM CT All questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing to: Ashley Lockett ashley.lockett@osagenation-nsn.gov or 111 John Dahl Pawhuska, OK 74056 A. The designated and approved fence line must be demolished and removed from the premise. B. The area around the fence line, to be constructed, must be cleared a minimum of 6 to 8 feet wide; and the clearing must be constructed with a dozer or other mechanical means. C. New corners and stretch posts must be installed or constructed. All corners and stretch posts must be constructed from steel pipe and welded of approved design or be constructed of treated wood measuring a minimum of 6 inches by six inches by eight feet long (6" x 6" x 8"). NO TREE TRUNKS, ROCK CORNERS OR ROCK STRETCH CENTERS WILL BE APPROVED FOR USE AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR WELDED STEEL PIPE OR TREATED WOOD CORNERS AND STRETCH BRACES. D. The contractor has two (2) weeks to construct and complete each designated fence line assigned by Real Estate Services, unless an extension is granted by Real Estate Services. If fence line is not constructed within the specified time frame, then Said person will return all materials to the Osage Nation Real Estate Services Department. If fencing materials are not returned, then Said person will reimburse this office with the equal amount of materials or funds. E. Fencing specifications will be as follows: a. Five (5) strands of 12.5-gauge, four (4) point, barbed wire. b. Steel "T" posts, spaced at intervals of ten (10) feet. Fence clips, stays and any additional posts must be supplied by the requesting party. F. After construction, the new fence line must be inspected by the Real Estate Services Inspector and the Contractor shall provide the amount of wire and posts used for the approved project.
