Site work for a development in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development.

The Osage Nation is seeking proposals for the Restricted Land Program-Pond Maintenance/Construction Projects. Proposal packets with full details can be obtained from the Osage Nation Purchasing Office. Osage Preference will be applied in awarding the contract. The Osage Nation reserves the right to reject any and all responses. Question Deadline 11/19/2025 at 4:30 PM CT All questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing to: Ashley Lockett ashley.lockett@osagenation-nsn.gov or 111 John Dahl Pawhuska, OK 74056 A. The designated and approved pond site must be cleared of trees, brush, debris, or other obstructions prior to construction. B. Topsoil must be stripped from the dam and excavation areas and stockpiled separately for later use in surfacing, seeding, and establishing vegetation. C. Excavation and embankment construction shall conform to USDA NRCS Pond (Code 378) standards. Fill material for the dam shall be free of rocks, roots, brush, sod, or other objectionable material, and must be compacted in lifts not exceeding 9 inches. D. The contractor has two (2) weeks to construct and complete each designated pondproject assigned by Real Estate Services, unless an extension is granted by Real Estate Services. If pond construction is not completed within the specified timeframe, payment will not be issued. E. Pond construction specifications will be as follows: a. Core trench shall be excavated along the centerline of the dam to a depth sufficient to reach impervious material, then backfilled and compacted with suitable soil. b. The embankment shall be constructed to the design height, including settlement allowance, with a minimum top width of 10 feet and side slopes no steeper than 3:1 on the upstream and downstream faces. c. A principal spillway (pipe or riser) of approved material and design must be installed, sized to pass the 10-year storm event in accordance with USDA standards. F. After maintenance/construction, the pond must be inspected by the Real Estate Services Inspector and the Contractor shall provide the amount of hours and materials used for the approved project.
