Affordable Housing Trust Fund Home Repair Program Projects - 2124 E Virginia St. Bids may be held for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for purpose of awarding the Contract. A Five Percent (5%) Bid Bond shall be submitted with the bid and a One hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond shall be delivered to the owner within ten (10) days after the contract has been awarded. The (2) new Furnace & AC equipment are to be Trane or equal in quality. The new HVAC systems are to heat and cool the main floor and the second floors of the home and sized accordingly. Include any duct work, vents, refrigerant lines, gas lines and electrical that may be needed. The (2) new outside condenser units are to be on the side of the home in existing location on new concrete pads. Include all necessary materials to complete the project. 2. Replace the existing side door on the home. The new replacement door is to be a primed six panel steel replacement door. The new door is to have new Kwikset or equal quality dead bolt and new doorknob assembly installed. The new lock set is to be keyed alike. Allow $375 for the new entry door and lock set. The new entry door is to have two coats of white exterior paint applied. Include all materials and labor to complete a leak free installation. 3. Replace the piece of missing soffit on the west side of the home. The repaired soffit area is to match existing as close as possible. Re-attach any loose pieces of fascia, soffit and siding around the home to assure proper weather protection. Include all materials and labor needed to complete.
