Missoula Water is soliciting bids for services to replace the existing 100 HP vertical turbine lineshaft pump at 2333 Dixon Avenue with a new 100 HP vertical turbine lineshaft pump, motor, and appurtenances. The Contractor shall provide all equipment (including crane services) and labor for the installation of a 100 HP pump and motor at a depth of 96 ft to bottom of tail pipe, including 10-ft tail pipe, 8-inch column pipe, 416 stainless steel shaft assembly, discharge head, and related components. The existing well casing is 12-inches in diameter. The existing pump will be pulled and the well will be mechanically and chemically cleaned and televised by a separate contractor prior to the start of this project. The installation of the new pump on the existing concrete base must occur prior to the construction of the new building. The new discharge piping downstream of the discharge head will be provided and installed by Missoula Water. Quotes are due by the date listed in the Invitation to Bid. Bidders shall print and submit all pages of the attached bid form plus submittal information on the proposed pump. The City of Missoula will provide a signed contract within 30 days of the bid opening. Question submitted after November 4, 2025 are not guaranteed to be answered before the bid deadline. Addenda and/or answers to Question will be posted to the City's bidding site by November 6, 2025. The well pump, motor, and appurtenances shall be installed no later than May 1, 2026.
