The City of Calabasas Community Services Department is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to repair and replace sections of perimeter fencing along the roadway (Thousand Oaks Blvd.) and along the 5-12 year old playground at Gates Canyon Park. The work is to match the existing playground-area fence in appearance and performance, and must be delivered on a turnkey basis, including all labor, materials, equipment, disposal, traffic control, and incidentals necessary for a complete, code-compliant installation. The contractor is responsible for verifying all field conditions and dimensions prior to ordering materials, and must bring any discrepancies to the City's attention in writing before proceeding. The scope of work includes demolition and preparation (including removing damaged fence, hauling and disposing of debris, protecting adjacent improvements, providing traffic and pedestrian control), and installation of new fencing to match the existing playground-area fence in all aspects (height, style, color, texture, caps/trim, and fastener pattern).
