Site work for a water / sewer project in Cadillac, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The work includes providing and installing a water supply well with the following specifications: 800 gallons per minute at 240 total dynamic head (TDH) using a submersible pump, drop pipe, downwire, pitless adapter, security cover, connection to the water system, startup, testing, and abandonment of one existing 5-inch observation well. Bidders are required to follow, document, and maintain documentation of their Good Faith Efforts to ensure Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) have an opportunity to participate. Compliance with the Davis Bacon Act and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) is required, ensuring that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used are produced in the United States, unless a waiver is approved. Refer to Appendix A for additional requirements. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
