These trees vary in species from white pine, beech, oak, and maple, and are damaged, diseased, or dead. Scope of work includes tree removal, clean up, and removal of all wood, brush and other debris, grind stumps to 6" below grade, and remove all stump debris and restore site with topsoil and grass seed. All trees are marked, but interested bidders should contact Gabe Marine, Assistant DPW Operations Manager, at 231.878.2087 for a tour of the site and identification of the trees to be removed. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in part or whole and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received.
