The work includes exterior water jet cleaning and overcoating, blasting and recoating of the wet interior, and touch-up of dry interior coating of an existing 250,000 gallon elevated single pedestal spheroid tank. Minor modifications to the vent and overflow, installation of a roof mounted painters rail, and other specified work are also included. Alternate bids for bellows style expansion joint, condensate drain line, and tank mixer installation are included. The project is to be constructed under a Lump Sum Contract. Bids must be executed on State Board of Accounts Form 96 (Revised 2013), accompanied by the Contractor's Bid Attachment, a completed and signed Financial Statement, and a bid security of not less than 5% of the total bid price. A signed Bid constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms and conditions. The awarded contractor must provide Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, valid throughout the duration of the contract plus twelve months from substantial completion, and must maintain required insurance coverage. The contractor must be properly qualified for public works projects in Indiana, enroll in and verify employee eligibility through E-Verify, and submit an Employee Drug Testing Plan and corresponding certification. The owner reserves rights concerning bid evaluation, and no bid may be withdrawn within 60 days of opening unless mutually agreed upon.
