The project consists of installing an 8 PVC pipe across Borough property from an existing open-ended pipe adjacent to 37 Twinlights Terrace, routing it overland, and then beneath the proposed retaining wall along South Peak Street, ultimately connecting into the existing drainage system. The intent is to improve stormwater management and connectivity with current infrastructure. All work must be completed within sixty calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit one paper copy of the proposal documents and two USB drives containing all proposal documents. Proposals must be made on standard proposal forms, enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the project name. Proposals must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a surety company authorized in New Jersey and either a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000. A performance bond and labor and material payment bond for the full project amount are required. Only properly qualified bidders are accepted. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or waive informalities not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, and to increase or decrease quantities as specified. Bidders must comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including affirmative action and public disclosure provisions. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
