Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Kalama, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The work includes all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, testing, training, and supervision for the installation of all components of the Pedestrian Crossing Replacement project as shown in the plans and specifications. This generally includes preparing required submittals and attending required meetings with the Owner and regulatory agencies as required by permits, mobilizing to the site, implementing temporary site controls (including traffic controls, marine environmental/water quality controls, and temporary erosion and sediment controls), demolishing, clearing and grubbing the site, performing site grading for new civil, structural/architectural, landscaping, and utilities work, furnishing and installing new concrete and asphalt pavement surfaces, furnishing and installing a new contractor-designed pre-manufactured pedestrian bridge and stair/elevator towers, furnishing and installing new landscaping elements and irrigation system, furnishing and installing a new elevator system, furnishing and installing new lighting and electrical service, and demobilizing equipment, labor, temporary facilities and unused materials from the site. Other work required to complete the primary tasks identified above and described in the Contract Documents is also included. All contractors must comply with prevailing wage and apprenticeship utilization requirements, anti-discrimination laws of the State of Washington, and pay all associated fees.
